April 27- May 13, 2007  A Visit Up North
Since we started this wonderful journey on October 15, 2006 we had not been up North to see any of our family and friends.  So we decided to take another road trip in Lil Cooper.  We left on Friday April 27th and headed North.

The first people that we stopped to see were Uncle Don (Christine's Dad's Brother) and Aunt Anita in Hagerstown, MD.  It had been years since last seeing them.  They were doing very good.

After an overnight in Hagerstown we whisked up to beautiful Nyack, NY to see our good friends Steven, Sondra, and Rachel.  Visiting here is always so refreshing and such a warmth of friendship and welcome.  After three days of visiting we just went 4 hours more and arrived in Syracuse.

An after dinner fun time of blowing bubbles family style. (rt to lft) Rachel, Steven, Sondra, & Trace.
Steven and Echo ( a great shot!)
One of the main reasons that we picked this time to visit was because it was Savannah's (our niece) 5th Birthday on May 3rd.
We spent eight days in Syracuse visiting family and friends.

Trace, Savannah, Dad, & Jackson  (trying to figure out, who are these strange people invading my home.)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAVANNAH!! 5 YEARS OLD!!
The Saturday morning before celebrating Savannah's Birthday we had a chance to watch her play her first soccor game for that year.  Great catch!
(Just realized I don't have any pics of Jaime & Harris.)
Mom and Jackson at Onondaga Lake Park.
It's family movie night!
Aunt Nancy always looks great.
At Dad's the sun was shining bright, so Donna, Christine and Dad have the squints.
It was so great to have a chance to visit our good friends Jim and Linda for a FANTASTIC afternoon cookout along with Allie, Eric and little Owen.

NOW EVERYONE HAS TO COME AND VISIT US!
We left Syracuse on May 10th heading South again but first going to Atlanta.  In Atlanta I (Christine) had the  joy of reconnecting with one of my childhood friends Becky Sugar-Prevo.  It had been perhaps 25 years.  She is now engaged to a "rajin cajin" Dale.  We had a great weekend with them. The sealife pictures are from the incredible aquarium in Atalanta that we visited.

Here we are on top of "Stone Mountain".  You take the cable car up, and then when you want to leave you take it back down.  Although this particular day a thunder and lightening storm decides to strike while we were on the top, and the cable cars do not run when there is lightening.  So we and at least 200 other people were stranded for at least 3 hours. It definitely makes a memory.
We wish there was time to visit everyone we know during our journeys.  We love all of our family and friends and through the years we hope we can visit everyone.  And also there is always an open invitation for anyone to visit us.
